One of the best Canary archipelago known as the «Island of One Hundred Volcanoes». Its pristine beaches make it a true sub-tropical wonder you cannot miss.
How come?
The island of Lanzarote with Lanzarote Airport-Guacimeta located in the municipality of San Bartolomé to 5 kilometers from Arrecife, the capital. Canary is the third airport passenger traffic is heaviest behind the airports of Gran Canaria and Tenerife South. Mirador del Rio: located north of the island offers stunning views of the archipelago Chinijo.
La Cueva de los Verdes: Like Water Jameos is formed by the lava flow from the volcano La Corona.
Museum of Contemporary Art: locatd in the Castle of San Jose in Arrecife. We can find paintings and works of great beauty.
The Gulf: Located in the municipality of Yaiza in the south of the island known for training in the center of the crater of the Lake of the Clicos, green lake due to the appearance of seaweed.
Canary Cetacean Museum: Located in Puerto Calero, this impressive museum offers secrets, curiosities, features, size replicas of biological material and even whales and dolphins of the Canaries.
Beaches: (Playas)
Playa Spoon : With 640 Km in length located on the Costa Teguise. A beach with fine golden sand and calm waters. It is an area with great development of surfing and windsurfing. It also has a lovely promenade with restaurants, shops, cafes and terraces.
Playa Honda: Located in the municipality of San Bartolomé. It has almost 2 km long and is located next to the airport. This beach is favorable for windsurfing and steady wind blowing. It has golden sand and medium grain.
Playa Grande: Situated in Puerto del Carmen. Over 1 km long, is a very popular beach with security.
Papagayo Beaches: Located in the municipality of Yaiza. Calm water beaches are surrounded by volcanic areas, but are nudist beaches. There is also a parking area (€ 3).
Playa Blanca: Also located in the municipality of Yaiza. It has 100 m. long. With fine white sand and calm waters ideal for diving. Moreover, its promenade with restaurants and cafes with terraces.
Gulf Beach: Its main attraction is the Lake of the Clicos. A 300 m. long. It is a beach with wind shear, medium grain black sand and cinder.
