Cadiz: Tourism in southern Spain

Cadiz is a wonderful city that came famous navigators as Ferdinand Magellan and Amerigo Vespucci. It is very close to Sevilla, another beautiful town in Spain, so it is not surprising that its port is one of the favorites among the highest ranks trans. In fact, about 48 cruise ships dock in Cadiz andalusia months.

Cadiz is a city of tourism with the best beaches of southern Spain. To highlight the local beaches of Caleta and La Victoria. Outside the city of Cadiz, tourist can enjoy the beaches of Zahara, Barbate and Chiclana. This is a small town in southern Spain near the Rock of Gibraltar, with narrow cobbled streets which give it some air Arabic. A few meters from the port is the cathedral. Festivals and Events in Spain

If someone asks about celebrations in Spain, two words appear: Flamenco and Bulls. The bullfights are around the country, with the show the most popular and famous San Fermin in Pamplona. But the bullfights are something that appear in any Spanish celebration.

The flamenco is the folk tradition of the south, especially Andalusia. It is in this region that visitors will hear the flamenco guitar and sing jondo and typical dances. In April, it celebrated the April Fair in Seville, a week of music and dance where you drink wine, sherry and other delicious drinks, accompanied by ham and cheese among other delights of the region and there is also the barbaric and Christian celebrations in Alcoy, Alicante, a festival celebrated for more than two hundred fifty years, beginning with the parade of flamboyant Alardos and recalls what happened in the battle between Christians and barbarians during the recovery. “Moors and Cristians and the Region of Alicante”

Moors and Cristians in the Region of Valencian, after I saw the festival last year, I had an idea for a hack: to add a third group, the Atheists. We could make it the festival of Moros, Cristians, literally means Moors and Christians, and is a set of festival activities which are celebrated in many towns and cities of Spain, mainly in the southern Valencian Community; according to popular tradition the festivais commemorate the battles, combats and fights between Moors (or Muslims) and Christians during the period known as Reconquista (from the 8th century through the l5th century), in this festival, many groups parade in medieval or fanciful costumes.
