The City of Arts and Sciences Principe Felipe
The Hemisferic Theatre is a development constructed in 1998 and occupies a large area of 26,000 m2 on a rectangular plot. It is located between the Science Museum and The Palace of Arts building. It has a screening room decorated for each season of the year and is dedicated to lectures, performances and films. It has all modern technology and has the capability of 3 dimension and sourround sound.
The Hemisferic offers in summer a outside terrace for arts and live music from the Valencian music scene.
The Rein Sofia Arts Palace has a strong commitment from the Valencian goverment. Mainly science , technology and nature are the main themes here. Large International musicals and opera are staged here due to the architectural structure of this fantasticly designed building. The building has been named after the Queen of Spain herself.
The Umbracle building has been specially adapted to house over 50 species of native Valencian floral species. Situated in the heart of the City of Arts and Sciences, the Umbracle is the in place for night life full of International themes. The flowers are delicately shaped and are distributed carefully acording to their colours, most notably the red, yellow, orange, white and violet. An array of delight to the eyes all around.
The Prince Felipe Museum of Science, named after the present King of spain is most noted for its european ambiance. The museum is dedicated to science and technology combined with fun and surprise throughout. An idea way to learn whilst having fun.
