Madeira Island Atlantic Ocean, belonging to Portugal. It is the largest island of the archipelago of the same name, which along with the Savage Islands archipelago are the Autonomous Region of Madeira. This region is situated 860 km from Lisbon and just 400 km from Tenerife.
How come?
The island of Madeira has called Madeira Airport. It records all island flights, both domestic and international. Furthermore, it was recently remodeled including a viaduct over the sea. • Botanical Gardens: Located in the capital, we can find a variety of flowers, as well as gardens of roses, orchids and the famous cave of lovers, especially suitable to go with the couple. We also can find parrots.
• Farmers’ market: Situated in the heart of the city, near the waterfront. We can find two floors, the first devoted to flowers and wicker and the second to the fruit, flowers and vegetables.
• Pico Do Arieiro: this mountain, 1810 meters high offering stunning views. There are 30 minutes drive from the capital to the top, the path followed by clouds and volcanic rocks.
• Beaches: we cannot forget the beautiful beaches of this island. Those found in the capital are composed of basalt songs, on the East Coast resort areas can enjoy composed of seawater West Coast is the most visited site and the northern area notable for its contrast with the green landscape Tues.
